Chinese Painting materials are not expensive. However, it is best to buy good quality. Western art shops often have only very basic materials and brushes, so we usually suggest that you try the Suppliers listed here.
CBPS Member Teacher Paul Maslowski has created a total beginners CBP kit which comes with his video introduction to CBP.
This is currently available through Paul directly.

Books are a good source of ideas and techniques, but no substitute for live tuition. Have a look for teachers, courses and colleges  and  regional CBP groups. If you can’t find anything suitable contact us and tell us where you are based.
